The Physician - O Físico?

This trailer definitely caught my eye, so did the translation of the title:

Physician in Portuguese would most loosely be translated as "clínico geral".

So I can only wait to see the movie to attempt to understand why they translated it as "O Físico", which would be "The Physicist" in English. 

They could have just put "O Médico".

Time will tell if the translation makes sense.
